Volunteer Opportunities at ELFCO

• Weekly ELFCO Newsletter Editor
  (A copy is handed out to every customer at the counter and sent to all ELFCO members online.) Using an established template, coordinate information, fill in sections, including but not limited to: ELFCO member info, store info, special projects, special product promotions, Sample Days, recipes, etc…
• Every Day: One Facebook/ Instagram post
  Using photos from the store, photos of products, images of upcoming events… be responsible for one scheduled 8 pm post every day about items and activities at ELFCO.
• Represent ELFCO at ELFCO’s table at the weekly Allen Farmers Market
  Pass out information, answer questions, distribute promotional items, etc… Shifts are on Wednesdays from 3-5 and 5-7 pm.
• Ice Cream Wednesdays and Pop-Up Sample Saturdays
  At a table in the front of the store, distribute items to customers. On Wednesdays from 3-7 pm, ELFCO scoops and hands out very small, free Mooville ice cream cones. ELFCO needs friendly volunteers to talk to folks and scoop the ice cream from 3-5 pm and 5-7 pm. On Pop-Up Sample Saturdays, from noon – 2 pm, ELFCO needs volunteers to grill hot dogs, or asparagus, or distribute drinks – whatever is scheduled for that Saturday.
• ELFCO Buying Club Coordinator
  Coordinator would assemble interested ELFCO members for a monthly gathering to look through catalogs and create an order, to be ordered by and delivered to ELFCO. When food is delivered, buying club members would sort and assemble goods for pick up at ELFCO.
