How to join ELFCO

Interested in becoming a member?

Annual memberships are $30 and are an investment in Eastside Lansing’s neighborhood grocery store. As a local co-op, we are collectively owned by our members — not a private entity or big corporation. When you become a member, you become an owner! To learn more about co-ops and how they work, click here.

Collective ownership of a food store means there is local and democratic control over it: your voice matters, and your dollars support your community by helping us stay here as a community resource. Member-ownership also gives you the right to vote in any member referenda or ballots, to attend annual member meetings, to run for the Board of Directors, and to know what’s going on with the behind-the-scenes of the store.

Have a legacy lifetime membership from our old location?

Ok! We trust you. And we’re glad you’re here! But, please consider becoming a new annual member to help support ELFCO’s present and future.
